We stopped here while driving between Porto and Salamanca. While neither of us understood each other too well, we ordered the menu of the day and waited for our food. We were then brought about 6 courses of food (all delicious) and offered wine, desserts and coffee. All for only €20 for 2 of us! They even gave us an extra large bottle of water on the way out. Definitely recommend for a lunch that is reminiscent of eating at your grandparents place!

Get your car and drive forever to this place. Order TODO. I'm from Argentina, and nothing prepared me for this meat. Delicious. Also, top notch service and excellent wine. All worth it. Warning: depictions of bullfighting (videos and images) .

Food was fantastic and service was great. So friendly! We were amazed at all the food that kept coming, even had to take the last course away with us because we were so full. Definitely recommend!

Excellent family restaurant just across the border from Portugal. The most amazing grilled meat around. Highlights are the Lamb and Pork. Paulino Sr. and Jr. are excellent hosts!

This was the best and biggest lunch we had on a 3000 km trip.every meat dish comes with a different oil, a huge tablet of Joghurts and cream with fruits for desert and many alcoholic digestives to choose from. Great job, we left absolutely satisfied

Came here for lunch on a Sunday after cycling around the hills for a couple of hours. We had the smallest of the set meals for €24 each. What a lot of food! All beautifully cooked and served with a great selection of flavoured oils, which we really appreciated. As much wine as we wanted, and a liqueur and coffee after dessert. Although nobody spoke English they were very helpful and we managed to get by.
